| Why visit Andy? I haven't the foggiest
idea, but as long as you have, here goes a deeply personal
and introspective yet convoluted ya da ya da to heretofore
make your time on the planet somehow well spent inspite of
the fact that you are on the internet and not out in the world
committing random acts of kindness, or loving your lovables
in a real time or place. But alas, I judge not my friend.
Why guitar? Other than the fact that I feel so lucky to
have heeded the call to play, I really feel the guitar is
the most expressive tool I can find for giving voice to
the worlds that filter through me. Besides, back when I
played harmonica and piano I could never resist snatching
up my friends' guitars whenever they got tired of playing
the ten songs we all knew for the tenth time, or they got
too buzzed and wandered off. Before that it was my brother-in-law
Jerry's dulcimer and sitar that introduced/ seduced my muse
to stringed sounds. Playing is like holding hands and dancing
with mirth and life itself. Yeah, kinda cosmic, but if somebody
asked me, that's how it feels.
Playing with these Floydian minded musicians manifests
some of the most fun I've ever had, and leaves me longing
to get to the next note because it only gets better. I do
hope you're along to hear it too.
Besides, if a band plays in the woods and nobody's there
to hear, is the world a better place?
