Thanks so much for clicking on my link.
There are only two reasons that I can think of as to why anyone
would ever click on my little old link. One is that your ears
are still ringing from the last Floydian Slip show that you
experienced. I understand if you are a little bit upset with
me, so I should explain why I play the drums so incredibly
loudly. My first encounter with the drums came when I was
just a toddler. My older brother Greg received one of those
cheap Sears drumkits with the paper heads from Santa. It may
have been a Josie and the PussyCats model, but don't bet the
farm on that one. I was wound up with the usual toddler Christmas
cheer, and some how I ended up at the bottom of a flight of
stairs in a crumpled heap of cheap metal and paper. You can
imagine that after this explosive introduction to drumming
that I've had a lot to live up to overthe years. While I have
broken myself of the habit of destroying drumkits, I still
can't stop hitting the drums and cymbals as hard as I possibly
can sometimes. The only other reason that I can come up with
for someone clicking on my link is that you want to know what
on Earth could possibly make all that racket. Well here its.
As you can see I am lucky enough to own two drumkits.
My mother gave the main part of Drumkit
One to me as a birthday present in 1986. My wife, Liz, gave
the snare drum for this kit to me as a wedding present in
1994. The hardware and cymbals are newer, because I still
break those things. I purchased the Rogers drums in 1992.
Like I said I feel very lucky to own these great instruments,
and I'm also lucky enough to get to share them with you, both
sonically and visually, and now technically.
